Kedai Kopi Jin Siang (津香虾面之家)

Tucked away in a half-shop in Damai Point is this unassuming shop that serves up one of the best prawn noodles in town. The broth is all the rave, boiled from delicious prawn heads and shells that are pre-roasted, which really packs a flavorful punch! Open from evening till late night, their menu offers up the basic prawn noodles, which is your choice of either yellow noodles or rice noodles served in their signature broth with slices of shrimp and pork, water spinach (kangkung), and sliced hard-boiled egg. Dry tossed noodles are available as well.

If you're looking for something different, you can also opt for the stir fried prawn noodles; they use the same prawn broth as the base seasoning, which makes for an incredible plate of noodles packed with umami goodness. Do also try their deep fried stuffed aubergines as a side dish!
